Hello, my name is Robert Komanec. I am a kindergarten teacher at Medford Area Elementary School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a major in Early Childhood Education.
I have a strong passion for education and working with children of all ages. This is my 4th year with the Medford Area School District. I have also taught kindergarten for 1 year in Marshall, WI, which is about 30 minutes east of Madison. During this school year I will stay plenty busy with teaching as well as coaching boy's JV I basketball. Throw those two things on top of having 3 children and I think I am in for a busy year. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports, hunting and fishing, and being outside as much as I can.
